25th Anniversary TCG set ‘Pokémon Celebrations’

Overnight the Pokémon Company dropped a bombshell on the already booming TCG!

We have seen leaks and images here and there over the last 6 months and finally the Pokemon Company announced their Pokemon 25th annivsary Collection ‘Celebrations’. This collection will have the classic Pokemon TCG (from 1999) with a slight twist, but don’t worry they will be giving us some good legendary and rare cards like Mew, Ho-Oh, Zamazenta, Flying Pikachu, Surfing Pikachu and even Professor Oak will make an appearance. The big hipe is also a remake of the OG Zard, he will also make an appearance, just like in the XY evolutions sets.

First off lets look at what is being released and then what each of them include.

In the Celebrations expansion it includes:

  • 4 Pokémon V and 2 Pokémon VMAX
  • 25 classic Pokémon TCG cards
  • More than 45 cards

The only catch is, this sets booster packs will not be sold separately, you will only be able to get them in special Celebration boxes.

Don’t worry Pokémon have made many other Celebration packs, so hopefully there is enough for everyone!

Now the cards! Just like the Chimchar we saw awhile back in an accidental leak all the cards in this set have the little 25th Pikachu.
