It has been announced that a special 25th anniversary Pokemon TCG set will be released on the 19th of February 2021. This set will be based of Pokemon Sword and Shield.
The sets booster packs will release exclusively via an Elite trainer box, V boxes, Pin boxes and two different sets of tins. Unfortunately the booster packs will not be sold on there own. This is very much like the 2016 Generations 20th anniversary release, this information is subject to change though.
What we do already know though is The Pokemon Company is planning a 25th anniversary with McDonald’s to give out holographic promos of the 25 starter Pokemon. Down below you can see the exclusive Chimchar.
As it gets closer to the release date there will be more information about the upcoming set so be sure to check back often. I am really looking forward to this set as I loved the 20th Anniversary Pokemon Generations set when it came out.
We have some news! 2021 is going to be another big year for Pokemon TCG. So what we know so far is the 25th anniversary set will release in 2021.
There are several products with the “25th” in placeholder names. This will include; A collectors chest, a VMAX figure collection, Elite trainer box, Mini tins, a premium collection and two other boxes.
Unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be any booster boxes or blister packs being released which indicates that this will be another special set. The products will release on the 8th of October. this is exciting! The collectors Chest sounds amazing and I can’t wait until there’s some images revealed.
