Pokémon Masters EX Reveals Pokémon Day 2026 Sync Pairs
The Pokémon Company has released a new trailer detailing the Pokémon Day 2026 celebrations coming to Pokémon Masters EX, highlighting several new Sync Pairs that will be added to the game.
The update introduces a mix of nostalgic characters and newer Pokémon from recent games, giving players more options to build their teams on Pasio.
One of the most notable additions is a special version of Red & Pikachu, designed to resemble their appearance from the original 1996 Pokémon Red & Green games. The pair features a retro-inspired design that celebrates the franchise’s early days as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations.
The event will also introduce two Sync Pairs from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s DLC storyline. These include Florian & Ogerpon and Juliana & Terapagos, bringing two important characters from the Paldea adventures into Pokémon Masters EX for the first time.
Pokémon Day, celebrated every year on February 27, marks the anniversary of the original Pokémon games’ release in Japan. With 2026 marking 30 years of Pokémon, many of the game’s events and content updates are being themed around the anniversary.
The new Sync Pairs are expected to arrive alongside special in-game events and celebrations within Pokémon Masters EX, giving players opportunities to recruit them and take part in limited-time activities.
