“Don’t Attack Me” Themed Pokémon Merch Announced for Pokémon Center Japan

The Pokémon Company has officially unveiled a brand-new merchandise line for Japan titled “Don’t Attack Me”, and it’s all about Pokémon that weaponise their cuteness before striking back. The collection will launch at Pokémon Center stores across Japan on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, with online sales beginning slightly earlier.

A Cute Look with a Dangerous Twist

The “Don’t Attack Me” line focuses on Pokémon with adorable expressions that lure opponents into letting their guard down, only to counterattack. This playful concept is reflected throughout the collection, blending soft aesthetics with dynamic battle imagery for a fun contrast that longtime fans will appreciate.

Highlights from the Collection

The lineup features a wide variety of reversible and transformable items, designed to show both the “cute” and “dangerous” sides of these Pokémon:

  • Reversible blankets showcasing sweet expressions on one side and intense attack scenes on the other
  • A soft, fluffy pudding cushion that changes expression when you open the zipper and flip it inside out
  • A reversible blouson jacket made from satin and boa fabrics, offering two distinct looks in one piece
  • Coordinating apparel such as a Jigglypuff sweatshirt and stylish accessories like a double choker

Fans can also look forward to adorable mascots of Cutiefly and Mimikyu, each decorated with ribbons and paired with acrylic charms featuring attacking Pokémon. The theme is clear: if you let your guard down because they look cute, you might get attacked.

Artist Collaboration

The visuals for the “Don’t Attack Me” collection are created by AAMY, an illustrator and artist known for her gentle yet pop-inspired fantasy style. AAMY is a graduate of Tokyo Zokei University, previously worked as a graphic designer, and is also known for designing art toy figures and holding exhibitions. Her unique style brings an extra layer of charm and personality to the collection.
