Empoleon makes its debut this September, with Dhelmise and Vaporeon set to follow in future updates.
The Pokémon Company has announced the next wave of new playable Pokémon for Pokémon Unite, bringing some exciting additions to the roster.
Over the coming months, Empoleon, Dhelmise, and Vaporeon will all join the battle, giving trainers new ways to play in the 5-on-5 strategic team battles.
Release Schedule
- Groudon – Appearing as a new boss in Theia Sky Ruins from September 4th, 2025
- Empoleon – Playable from September 19th, 2025
- Dhelmise – Release date to be announced
- Vaporeon – Release date to be announced
Empoleon will be the first to splash into action, ready to take on opponents with its steel-hard resilience and icy water attacks. Fans of Dhelmise can look forward to bringing the Anchor Pokémon’s ghostly, seaweed-laced power into battles, while Vaporeon adds another Eeveelution to the Unite roster with its flowing water abilities.
With Groudon also looming as a new boss encounter, trainers will have plenty of fresh challenges both as allies and as rivals on Aeos Island.
