What we know so far about this set and the exclusive Elite Boxes!
This English set is a combination of both the Japanese Eevee Heros and the soon to be released Skyscraping Perfect / Blue Sky Stream expansions. I find it very interesting that these two expansions fit into one set, Evolving Skies? Part Rayaqaza and flying dragons crossed with the Pokémon with the most Evolutions? I guess sort of? Any who.
In this set it has been confirmed there is over 200 cards in this set. There will be 15 VMax Cards, 18V Cards and 33 full-art V Cards. Now this is something I cannot stress enough. We all LOVE the Alt Artworks of the eeveelutions in the Japanese version and it is not confirmed if the Alt Arts are included, so far we have confirmation that all the eeveelution V cards will be included. We also have to incorporate VMax Rayquaza, Duraludon and others from the Slyscraping Perfect and Blue Sky Stream set. These Dragon type Pokémon will be returning to the TCG with a whole new look. There will also be more new single strike and rapid strike cards, 24 trainer cards and a new special energy card.
Two different Elite Trainer Boxes, one featuring Umbreon, Flareon, Jolteon, and Leafeon and the other featuring Sylveon, Vaporeon, Glaceon, and Espeon, but thats not all. There also is limited edition Pokemon Center US exclusive edition as well.
The standard box will included:
- 8 Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield Evolving Skies booster packs
- 65 card sleeves
- 45 Pokémon TCG Energy cards
- A players guide to the Sword & Shield Evolving Skies expansion
- A Pokémon TCG rulebook
- 6 damage-counter dice
- 1 competition-legal coin-flip die
- 2 acrylic condition markers
- A collectors box to hold everything, with 4 dividers to keep it organized
- A code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online
These guys are available for Pre-Order already at EB Games.
These ones above are the Pokémon Center Exclusive version.
Not much has been said about these ones, and they are yet to be listed on the Pokémon Center site yet for pre-order. So far I have found that besides the different fancy artwork on the boxes, they will come with all the same items as the standard Elite boxes but in addition will have 2 more booster packets. There is also a word of a pin? but lets wait and see.
Release date is set at August 27, so I’m sure we will hear more in the next month.
We will also be having pre-orders for the Pokemon Center US Elite Boxes, once confirmed info 🙂
