The Pokémon Company has partnered with Heinz Japan to launch a special Pikachu-themed Upside-Down Bottle Ketchup, bringing a fun and playful twist to one of the brand’s most popular household products.
This limited collaboration keeps the familiar taste and easy-to-use upside-down bottle design, while adding bright Pokémon visuals that make everyday meals more exciting for fans of all ages. The product has currently been confirmed as a Japan-only release, with no official announcement regarding availability in the United States, Australia, or other regions.
Three Pikachu Bottle Designs Available
The new ketchup release features three different bottle designs, each showcasing Pikachu in dynamic poses alongside Poké Ball elements. The artwork is designed to give the impression that Pikachu is leaping right off the label, adding an energetic Pokémon touch to kitchen shelves and dining tables.

Each bottle contains 460g of Heinz tomato ketchup and is being distributed through mass retailers across Japan as part of a limited promotional run.

To celebrate the collaboration, Heinz Japan is running a promotional campaign via its official X (Twitter) account.
A total of 450 winners will receive a Pikachu cheek plate, featuring a playful design that uses ketchup to recreate Pikachu’s iconic red cheeks.
Campaign period: March 16 – March 22, 2026

Bringing Pokémon Into Everyday Life
This collaboration highlights Pokémon’s continued expansion into lifestyle and everyday consumer products. By combining a globally recognised food staple with one of the franchise’s most beloved mascots, the Heinz Pikachu ketchup delivers both practical convenience and collectible appeal.
With Pokémon’s milestone celebrations continuing through 2026, collaborations like this show how the brand continues to blend nostalgia, creativity, and daily enjoyment — even if, for now, fans outside Japan may need to rely on imports to get their hands on one.
