New Details on Pokémon Scarlet/Violet’s Japanese Mythical Pokémon Distribution and Shiny Rayquaza Tera Raid Event

Exciting news for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet fans in Japan! New details have surfaced about an upcoming Mythical Pokémon Get Campaign and a Shiny Rayquaza Tera Raid Event, set to bring unique rewards to dedicated players.

Mythical Pokémon Get Campaign Details

Starting November 22, 2024, Japanese players will have the opportunity to score some rare Mythical Pokémon by participating in the Mythical Pokémon Get Campaign. This event, which runs through April 30, 2025, allows players to unlock codes for Deoxys, Keldeo, and Zarude by accumulating points through qualifying product purchases.

Players can accumulate points by purchasing select products such as Pokémon TCG packs and Pokémon-themed candies, with milestone rewards unlocking special mystery gift codes. Each milestone provides a different Mythical Pokémon, creating a fun, progressive reward system for collectors.

Shiny Rayquaza Tera Raid Event

In addition to the Mythical Pokémon campaign, a limited-time Shiny Rayquaza Tera Raid Event will launch from December 20, 2024, to January 6, 2025. Players will have a chance to encounter a Shiny Rayquaza with a unique Tera Type, adding a dazzling dragon to their battle rosters. However, it is currently unclear whether Shiny Rayquaza will be catchable during this event or if it will serve as a challenging boss raid similar to Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Shiny Zeraora raid.

While there’s no official word yet on whether this campaign or event will extend beyond Japan, the unique Mythical Pokémon and Shiny Rayquaza event make this a thrilling time for Scarlet and Violet players in the region. Fans worldwide will surely be watching closely for any news of these events coming to other territories
