Honda and Pokémon Unveil Functional “Koraidon Project” Motorcycle

Pokémon fans and motorcycle enthusiasts alike are in for a treat as Honda and The Pokémon Company have officially unveiled the Honda Koraidon Project—a real-life rideable version of the Legendary Pokémon Koraidon from Pokémon Scarlet.

Following in the footsteps of Toyota’s Miraidon Project, which brought a life-sized version of Pokémon Violet’s Legendary Pokémon Miraidon into reality, Honda has taken up the challenge of transforming Koraidon into a functional mobility concept.

A team of 40 engineers from Honda’s Motorcycle and Power Products divisions and Innovative Research Excellence worked together to develop this unique vehicle. Designed to mimic Koraidon’s muscular build, the motorcycle is expected to incorporate Honda’s advanced balance control systems, allowing for a smooth and immersive ride.

While official details on its capabilities remain limited, Honda has hinted that the design takes inspiration from Koraidon’s in-game abilities to traverse land, sea, and air.

Public Debut in Tokyo

The Honda Koraidon Motorcycle will make its public debut at the Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama in Tokyo from March 7-9, 2025, giving visitors the first look at this exciting fusion of Pokémon and cutting-edge motorcycle technology.
