McDonald’s 2023 Pokémon TCG Promotion: Get Ready to Collect Exclusive Cards!
Attention Pokémon fans and Happy Meal enthusiasts! Get ready for an exciting annual tradition as McDonald’s gears up to launch its Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) promotion starting in August. The much-anticipated event will kick off in Germany and Austria on July 27th and in the UK on August 23rd. And fear not, Pokémon trainers worldwide, as this fantastic promotion is expected to reach Australia, US and other countries during August as well.
This year’s collection features a stunning array of 15 reprinted cards, with six of them sporting a beautiful holographic design: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Cetitan, Pikachu, and Klawf. These six holo cards are making history as the first-ever McDonald’s promos to feature foil borders. Just like past McDonald’s promos, they will dazzle with a confetti holofoil finish, adding a touch of magic to your Pokémon card collection.
Already making waves at select locations in Germany, these exclusive cards will be part of the Happy Meal package. Each Happy Meal will come with a booster pack and a toy, making it a double delight for Pokémon collectors. Inside each booster pack, you’ll find four promo cards, one of which will be the coveted holo card. This year’s toy will be a “Match & Battle” toy, a sequel to last year’s success, with an updated and captivating design.
