Japanese Pokémon Anime Enters New Chapter “Mega Voltage” aired April 11th

A brand-new chapter of the Pokémon anime, titled “Mega Voltage,” premiered on Friday, April 11th, 2025! The latest season first episode teases powerful evolutions, new faces, and high-voltage action as the story continues following the Laqua arc.

Set after their journey to Laqua, Riko, Roy, and Dot return—looking a little more grown-up and ready for even greater challenges. Joining them is a mysterious new character named Ult, who brings with him a Sableye that can Mega Evolve. Meanwhile, Roy now partners with a shiny yellow Lucario, which also seems capable of Mega Evolution!
