Mightiest Mark Emboar Tera Raid Event Returns for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The Pokémon Company has launched another special 7★ Tera Raid event for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
From now until April 16th, players can once again challenge an Emboar with the Electric Tera Type. As with other Mightiest Mark raid events, this Emboar can only be caught once per save file and comes with the exclusive Mightiest Mark.
After catching it, players can continue battling the raid for additional rewards such as Ability Patches, Electric Tera Shards, rare candies, and Herba Mystica.
Best Pokémon to Use Against Electric Tera Emboar
Electric Tera Emboar is a dangerous opponent thanks to its naturally high Attack and access to powerful Fire and Fighting-type moves. Since Electric is weak to Ground, the best strategy is to bring bulky Ground-type Pokémon that can survive Emboar’s attacks while dealing super effective damage.
Best Solo Counters
- Clodsire
One of the safest options thanks to its huge bulk and Ground typing. Clodsire can shrug off Electric attacks and hit back hard with Earthquake or High Horsepower. - Great Tusk
Great Tusk is an excellent offensive choice with powerful Ground-type attacks and enough bulk to survive Emboar’s hits. - Garchomp
Garchomp’s Ground typing and strong Attack make it one of the fastest ways to bring Emboar down. - Ting-Lu
Ting-Lu’s huge defenses make it ideal for surviving the raid, especially in solo play.
Recommended Support Pokémon
- Umbreon
Can use Screech, Helping Hand, and cheers to support Ground-type attackers. - Grimmsnarl
Reflect and Light Screen help reduce damage for the whole team.
Suggested Strategy
For solo players, Clodsire is likely the most reliable choice:
- Use Curse or another boosting move early if available
- Attack with Earthquake or High Horsepower
- Use Recover when necessary to stay healthy
- Terastallize into Ground-type as soon as possible
Players should avoid using Water-types despite Emboar being part Fire-type, as its Electric Tera Type makes those Pokémon especially vulnerable.
The Mightiest Mark Emboar event will only be available until April 16th, so Trainers should make sure to challenge it before time runs out.
