Mightiest Mark Hydreigon 7★ Tera Raid Event Now Live In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

A brand-new 7★ Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Trainers can now take on the powerful Hydreigon, who comes equipped with the Poison Tera Type and boasts the exclusive Mightiest Mark — proving it as one of the strongest raid opponents yet.

The event runs from November 7th through November 10th, 2025, giving players a limited window to catch this special Hydreigon. As usual, each player can only catch one per save file, but you can continue battling the raid afterward to earn valuable rewards like Bottle Caps, Ability Patches, and Tera Shards.

Event Details

Featured Pokémon: Hydreigon
Tera Type: Poison
Raid Star Level: 7★
Availability: November 7 – November 10, 2025
Catch Limit: One per save file
Special Trait: Mightiest Mark (“The Unrivaled”)

This Hydreigon is expected to have strong offensive coverage, including Dragon and Dark-type moves alongside Poison Tera attacks, making it a versatile but dangerous opponent.

Best Counters To Use

To conquer this raid, you’ll need a strategy that can handle Hydreigon’s raw power while resisting its Poison Tera attacks. Here are some of the best Pokémon to bring:

Iron Hands (Fighting/Electric)
Ability: Quark Drive
Moves: Drain Punch, Belly Drum, Thunder Punch, Electric Terrain
Why It Works: Iron Hands’ high Attack and access to Drain Punch make it a fantastic option for sustaining through Hydreigon’s damage while exploiting its weakness before Terastalization.

Garchomp (Ground/Dragon)
Ability: Rough Skin
Moves: Earthquake, Swords Dance, Dragon Claw, Protect
Why It Works: Ground-type moves hit Poison-types super effectively, and Garchomp’s solid bulk helps it survive even boosted hits.

Clodsire (Poison/Ground)
Ability: Water Absorb
Moves: Earthquake, Acid Spray, Recover, Amnesia
Why It Works: Clodsire resists Poison and Dragon attacks, making it a superb defensive pick. It can slowly chip Hydreigon down while supporting the team.

Iron Treads (Ground/Steel)
Ability: Quark Drive
Moves: Earthquake, Iron Head, Screech, Rapid Spin
Why It Works: Another solid Ground-type with good physical bulk and strong Earthquake damage potential.

Tinkaton (Fairy/Steel)
Ability: Mold Breaker
Moves: Play Rough, Gigaton Hammer, Reflect, Light Screen
Why It Works: Its Fairy typing gives it a natural advantage over Hydreigon before it Terastalizes, and its utility support moves help allies stay alive.

Raid Strategy Tips

Bring Pokémon that resist Poison, such as Ground or Steel types.
Use supportive moves like Light Screen, Reflect, and Heal Cheer to mitigate Hydreigon’s powerful multi-target attacks.
Coordinate with allies — this is one of the tougher raids, so working as a team makes a huge difference.

Players can find the raid crystal glowing with a black aura on the map during the event period. Defeating Hydreigon will net plenty of Tera Shards, Herba Mystica, and possibly Poison-type resources.

This marks the latest in a string of Mightiest Mark Tera Raids, continuing The Pokémon Company’s tradition of spotlighting fully-evolved powerhouses with rare Tera typings and limited-time availability.
