Mightiest Mark Incineroar Tera Raid Event Now Live for Pokémon Scarlet/Violet
Attention Trainers! The Pokémon Company has kicked off a brand-new 7-star Tera Raid event in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Starting today and running until September 9th, players will have the chance to challenge a 7-star Tera Raid featuring the powerful Incineroar with a Dark Tera Type.
How to Obtain Incineroar
This is a rare opportunity, as this Incineroar, marked with the Mightiest Mark, can only be caught once per save file. Similar to previous Mighty Starter Pokémon Raids, this will be the only way to obtain Incineroar legitimately in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet without the use of Pokémon HOME or purchasing the Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC.
Even after capturing Incineroar, players can continue to participate in the raid to earn various rewards, including Tera Shards, Ability Capsules, and rare berries.
Best Pokémon to Use in the Raid
To help you succeed in this tough challenge, here are some of the best Pokémon to use against Incineroar in the Dark Tera Type Raid:
- Azumarill: With its Fairy typing and high Attack stat, Azumarill can use moves like Play Rough to deal massive damage. Pair it with the Huge Power ability to maximize its attack output.
- Iron Hands: As a Fighting and Electric-type, Iron Hands can use moves like Drain Punch or Close Combat to hit Incineroar’s Dark Tera Type for super effective damage while maintaining durability.
- Garchomp: This Dragon/Ground-type Pokémon can leverage its physical strength with moves like Earthquake to deal significant damage while resisting many of Incineroar’s attacks.
- Slowbro: With its Psychic typing and good bulk, Slowbro can use Stored Power after boosting its stats with Calm Mind. This strategy allows it to hit Incineroar’s Dark typing hard while remaining resilient.
