Mightiest Mark Meowscarada Tera Raid Event Now Live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet!
The latest 7-Star Tera Raid Battle event is here in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, featuring Meowscarada with the Grass Tera Type! This special event runs from February 28th to March 6th, 2025, giving trainers a limited time to challenge and capture this exclusive Pokémon.
Meowscarada Tera Raid Details
Meowscarada will have the Grass Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark, giving it the title “Meowscarada the Unrivaled.” Players can catch this Meowscarada only once per save file, but they can continue battling for valuable rewards such as Herba Mystica, Ability Patches, Bottle Caps, and more.
Best Pokémon to Use Against Meowscarada
Since Meowscarada retains its Grass Tera Type, it will be weak to Fire, Flying, Poison, Bug, and Ice-type attacks. However, its high Speed and strong offensive moveset make it a tough opponent, so choosing the right counter is crucial!
Top Raid Counters:
Corviknight (Flying/Steel)
- Ability: Mirror Armor (to prevent stat drops)
- Moveset: Brave Bird, Iron Defense, Roost, Bulk Up
- Why? Corviknight’s Steel-typing resists Meowscarada’s Grass moves, and Brave Bird hits hard with STAB.
Volcarona (Bug/Fire)
- Ability: Flame Body (Chance to burn Meowscarada)
- Moveset: Fiery Dance, Bug Buzz, Quiver Dance, Morning Sun
- Why? Volcarona’s Bug/Fire combo makes it a strong counter, resisting Grass moves and hitting back with STAB attacks.
Annihilape (Fighting/Ghost)
- Ability: Defiant (Boosts Attack if stats are lowered)
- Moveset: Rage Fist, Bulk Up, Drain Punch, Taunt
- Why? Annihilape’s high bulk and offensive power make it a solid counter, and Drain Punch keeps it alive during long battles.
Tips for Winning the Raid
Bringing a support Pokémon like Grimmsnarl with Light Screen and Fake Tears can help weaken Meowscarada. Avoid using Water or Ground-types, as they will struggle against its attacks. Inflicting status effects like Burn can also help control the battle.
