Pokélid Medals Coming to Pokémon HOME From June 2025
The Pokémon Company has announced an exciting new collectible feature for Pokémon HOME users—Pokélid Medals, launching later this month.
Starting June 21st, 2025, trainers using the Pokémon HOME mobile app will be able to collect digital medals inspired by the popular Pokélid manhole covers found throughout Japan. This new campaign will begin with five unique medals based on the real-life Pokélids located in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.
To obtain the medals, players will need to use the GPS feature within the Pokémon HOME app while physically near the designated Pokélid locations. Each medal reflects the artistic designs found on the actual manhole covers, which often feature region-specific Pokémon and vibrant artwork.
This initiative follows the broader expansion of the Medal system in Pokémon HOME, which allows users to collect, trade, and showcase event-specific or location-based achievements.
A Growing Collection
More Pokélid medals are expected to be added in the future as the campaign expands to other regions of Japan. With over 200 Pokélids already installed across the country, fans can look forward to collecting a wide variety of designs.
Whether you’re a collector, a traveler, or just a curious trainer, this new feature offers an exciting way to blend real-world exploration with Pokémon collecting.
Stay tuned for more updates as The Pokémon Company rolls out additional medal locations in the coming months!
