The trailer introduces viewers to a new group of characters, the Rising Volt Tacklers, who will be playing a prominent role in the upcoming season.

The Rising Volt Tacklers are a crew that man an airship captained by Professor Friede. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the personalities and abilities of each member of the crew, as they navigate through the world of Pokemon.

Alongside the trailer, The Pokemon Company has also released a new poster for the series, featuring Ash and Pikachu front and center, surrounded by a cast of colourful new characters. The poster showcases the dynamic and diverse world that the new series promises to explore. Their are clear hints that shiny Pokemon will appear in the new series as well as the Variant Pokemon from Area Zero, which were first released in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The upcoming Pokemon anime series looks to be an exciting adventure for both long time fans of the franchise and newcomers alike. With a fresh cast of characters and a new storyline to explore, it promises to bring a new level of excitement to the world of Pokemon. As you can see even though there is no more Ash, there will always be a Pikachu.

The new series is set to premiere in Japan in April 2023, and while there is no official release date for other regions.
