“Pika Pika Mart” – Supermarket-Themed Pokémon Merchandise Arrives at Pokémon Centers
What if the world of Pokémon had its very own supermarket? That fun idea has now become a full merchandise line, as Pokémon Centers across Japan are set to launch the new Pika Pika Mart collection on Saturday, December 6th. This adorable series imagines everyday household goods, snacks, and supermarket essentials as if they existed in the Pokémon universe.
The collection spans multiple categories—including plush toys, stationery, bags, pouches, accessories, daily necessities, and even food items—bringing a playful “Pokémon supermarket” concept to life.

Plush Pikachu Leads the Lineup
The stars of the collection are the themed Pikachu plush toys. Fans can look forward to:
- Pikachu dressed in a Pika Pika Mart basket, peeking out as though freshly purchased from a supermarket shelf.
- Pikachu in a staff uniform, complete with apron—perfectly suited to working at a Pokémon-themed grocery store.
- A plush eco-bag Pikachu, styled to look like it’s out for a grocery run.
These designs bring a fun, slice-of-life charm that feels straight out of a warm day in the Pokémon world.

Goods Inspired by Everyday Foods and Household Items
Beyond plush toys, the Pika Pika Mart series features a wide variety of items modeled after supermarket staples:
Creative Pouches and Accessories
- Canned cocoa–style pouch featuring Eneko, with a mini carabiner for attaching to bags.
- Ice cream packaging–style pouch with Vanillite, designed to look delicious enough to eat.
- Protein powder–themed pouch featuring Gurdurr, giving off strong “time to bulk up” gym energy.
- Whipped cream packaging–style pouch with Alcremie, sparking excitement about mixing up different colors of cream.
Each pouch has a magnetic closure, making them smooth and easy to open and close. The back of every item even includes a playful “ingredient list” design—another delightful nod to real supermarket packaging.
