Pokemon x Overtime Partner Collab

Pokémon and Overtime Partner for Overtime Elite Jersey and Lifestyle Collection

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Overtime, the leader in content for the next generation of sports fans, has teamed up with The Pokémon Company International to bring together two iconic worlds: sports and pop culture. This exciting partnership marks the debut of a custom-designed jersey and lifestyle collection for all eight Overtime Elite (OTE) teams, blending the best of sports and the beloved Pokémon universe.

Pokémon Playoffs & Lifestyle Collection Launch

The partnership kicks off with the OTE jerseys making their debut in the Pokémon Playoffs on February 18th, 2025. Each OTE team will sport a custom-designed jersey featuring a blend of the team’s unique identity with beloved Pokémon and creative design elements. These jerseys offer fans the opportunity to represent their team both on and off the court, combining the athletic appeal of the game with the fun and familiarity of Pokémon.

Then, on Pokémon Day—February 27th, 2025, the annual celebration of all things Pokémon—the lifestyle collection will be launched. Available exclusively online at Overtime Shop starting at 9 AM ET, the collection will feature a wide range of apparel including hoodies, shorts, activewear, pajamas, and more. This collection will allow fans to show off their Pokémon and OTE pride in everyday settings, from the court to the streets.

A Seamless Fusion of Sports and Pop Culture

This unique collaboration goes beyond just the apparel. At OTE Arena, the Pokémon Playoffs will feature customized LEDs, integrated marketing opportunities, and Pokémon-inspired referee uniforms to bring the collaboration to life. Fans will be immersed in the Pokémon universe throughout the event, making it a truly special experience.

Additionally, fans can look forward to live appearances from Pikachu and Gengar during the Pokémon Day launch event on February 27th, 2025. These iconic Pokémon characters will surely create a buzz, offering even more excitement for fans of both the Pokémon franchise and the OTE teams.

A New Culture of Fandom, Style, and Passion

Overtime and Pokémon have always been at the forefront of innovation, creating unique and engaging experiences for their fans. Overtime’s digital-first approach to sports media has resonated with the next generation of fans, while Pokémon has captivated the hearts of millions across generations. With this collaboration, Overtime and Pokémon aim to merge gaming, sports, and lifestyle, creating a new culture where passion for fandom and style meet.

Dan Porter, Overtime Founder and CEO, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “This collaboration is a perfect example of how we’re always looking for new ways to engage our audience and bring them closer to the teams and brands they love. Pokémon has been around for decades, and their ability to innovate while keeping their fans excited is something we admire. We’re thrilled to bring together Overtime and Pokémon fans for something truly special.”

Amy Sachtleben, senior director of licensing and promotions at The Pokémon Company International, shared similar sentiments: “Pokémon and Overtime share a common goal of being at the forefront of pop culture. With Overtime’s expertise in reaching Gen Z audiences, we can’t think of a better partner to help us engage the next generation of fans.”

A Celebration of Fandom and Creativity

This collaboration is a perfect fit for both brands, who have continually pushed boundaries in their respective fields. By fusing basketball with Pokémon, Overtime and The Pokémon Company International are not just creating apparel—they are creating an entirely new culture. A culture where creativity, fandom, and style come together to celebrate the passions that unite fans worldwide.
