A special promo card has been announced on the official Japanese web page for ‘Pokemon the movie: Coco’.

The card is part of a rare handful of cards that feature a non-pokemon combatant as the main feature of the card.

The card’s name is Coco and does the following:

Voice of the Forest (C)
Search your deck for a (G) Pokémon, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.

Tarzan Kick – 120 (G)(G)(C)
Flip a coin, if tails, the attack does nothing.

Overall, I love the idea of this card, it’s distribution and the message it helps convey about the protagonist of the movie. By featuring him the way they have they allow the player/viewer to start developing ideas and interest in the character as he immediately begins to break some moulds as he defies the expectations that have been set out in the general relationship between humans and Pokemon. I find it very interesting personally.
