Pokemon Day is celebrated on February 27 to commemorate the launch of the first Pokemon video games in 1996. Pokemon Go is celebrating Pokemon Day with a new event! From February 26, 2019 at 1pm PST until February 28, 2019 at 1pm PST we will see the following bonuses:

• Pokemon from the Kanto region will appear more frequently in the wild
• Pokemon from the Kanto region will be featured on Raids
• Pikachu and Eevee wearing flower crowns will be available in the wild and in Field Research
• You may encounter shiny Pidgey and shiny Rattata

My thoughts

I always love a Kanto event, it’s definitely my favorite region. Be sure to stock up on Eevee candy so you can obtain all Eeveelutions with the flower crown! It’s a short event so get out and go!
