This year, ticket-holding Trainers will get to personalize their Pokémon GO Fest experience with Special Research. Catch, explore, or battle—choose your focus and difficulty level, and certain Special Research tasks will change accordingly! Complete Special Research to encounter the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin in its Land Forme! Other rewards include a Shaymin-inspired avatar item and an event-exclusive pose.

Special Pokémon GO Fest 2022–themed stickers will be available to Ticket-holding Trainers during the event from PokéStops and Gifts, and available to all Trainers in the in-game shop.
A special Pikachu
Pikachu is getting into the Pokémon GO Fest spirit, too! During the event, be on the lookout for Gracidea Pikachu appearing in the wild, in one-star raids, and as a surprise encounter in GO Snapshot. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Pikachu isn’t the only one dressed to impress! Trainers in select locations will be able to purchase commemorative Pokémon GO Fest 2022 T-shirts—and all Trainers will be able to snag a matching avatar item in the in-game shop!
