A special Pokemon event has been announced for the connection of Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home!

You can now connect Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME! :O It was the last piece of the puzzle between the Pokemon Companies ideal Pokemon Transfers. The image below makes it very easy to understand how to transfer your Pokemon from app to app.

Do you not require a premium/paid version of the Pokemon Home app in order to connect your Pokemon Go account. However, as the updates get rolled out for the connection the first people who will be offered the connection are people with the higher Trainer levels in Pokemon Go. It will then slowly roll out for the rest of us. That’s a bit sucky…..

Once linked you can transfer your Pokemon over to Home and then to your Pokemon Sword and Shield games. Don’t forget you must either have registered that Pokémon’s species to your Pokédex or have obtained a Pokémon of that species at any point in that game.

Now lets get to the fun part what’s the special event? Why it’s a free Pokemon!

The first time you transfer a Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home you will receive a free Mythical Pokemon.

Gigantamax Melmetal

He will be gifted to you after the transfer and sit in your Pokemon Home app. You can than transfer him to your Pokemon Sword and Shield Games. This is the first Melmetal to have a Gigantamax form.
