The Pokemon Company has confirmed that a special story arc based on Pokemon Sword and shield will be featured in the Pokemon Journeys anime.

The Pokemon Sword and Shield chapter of Pokemon Journeys is scheduled to begin on the 23rd of October in Japan. This will run for four weeks. It will feature Ash and Gou encounter Zacian and Zamezenta. It will also include major characters such as Chairman Rose, Sonia and Oleana.

I think it’ll be good to see Ash and Goh in the Galar Region, but I personally don’t think it will compare to Twilight Wings.
