Everything we know about the Japanese and English Brilliant Stars TCG!
A new TCG expansion has been announced in Japan and also in English. This is very unusual that they English is announced just weeks after the Japanese set, usually it takes a few months before we get to see it on our side. I have included some of the Japanese images along with the English ones, there will be new booster arts, the new VStar cards, new ETB with another Pokemon Center Exclusive, VSTAR special boxes, blisters and of course the deck builders.
So what do we know?
This is the first expansion to have the new VSTAR type of card, the VSTAR evolved from the previous V cards. Not only do these new artworks look amazing they also have signature abilities called VSTAR Powers.
The Japanese Set
The Japanese version ‘S9 – Star Birth’ was announced during Japans Champions League Tournament and will be released in Japan on the 14th of January 2022.
This expansions will contain 100 new cards + Secret Rares.
The English Set
What is in the new Brilliant Stars Set?
- Over 170 cards
- 4 brand-new Pokémon VSTAR
- 20 powerful Pokémon V and 3 enormous Pokémon VMAX
- 30 cards with special art in the Trainer Gallery subset
- More than 20 Trainer cards and a new Special Energy card
Release Dates
The date has been set for released in English at February 2022.
The Special Collection Boxes, Glaceon VSTAR and Leafeon VSTAR will be released a little later in the year.
