Pokémon TCG Mega Series “Mega Brave” & “Mega Symphonia” Expansion Debuts August 1, 2025
The Pokémon Company has officially launched its next major trading card game expansion in Japan: the Mega Series, featuring two new Scarlet & Violet-era booster packs titled “Mega Brave” and “Mega Symphonia”, arriving on August 1, 2025
What’s Inside?
These new packs continue the storyline from the Scarlet & Violet TCG environment and introduce exciting gameplay mechanics and powerful cards:
- Powerful Mega Evolution ex Pokémon that can deal massive early-game damage and boast high HP and strong abilities
- Support cards like:
- A “Mega Courage” supporter card which fully heals HP from one Mega ex Pokémon.
- A tool card that lets you salvage a Pokémon or Basic Energy from the discard pile—useful in almost any deck .
- A supporter or item that skips Stage 1 evolution, letting players play a Stage 2 Pokémon from hand without needing its pre-evolution
The expansion includes both Starter Pokémon and evolved forms integrated into Mega ex strategies, as well as new Trainer cards to support them.
Deluxe & Premium Trainer Set
Alongside the booster packs, a Premium Trainer Box “Mega” product will be released, containing:
- 10 packs of Mega Brave and 10 packs of Mega Symphonia
- A wide variety of Pokémon and Trainer cards, energy cards, damage counters, coin, and premium markers
- Artwork and themed storage boxes with Mega-themed aesthetics
