Pokémon TCG Pocket Extradimensional Crisis Expansion Launches May 29th, 2025
The Pokémon Company has officially announced the next major expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, titled Extradimensional Crisis. This set is set to launch on May 29th, 2025, and brings with it the arrival of the Ultra Beasts, mysterious and powerful Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon.
This latest expansion promises a surge of otherworldly energy, featuring cards based on iconic Ultra Beasts such as Nihilego, Buzzwole, Xurkitree, and Guzzlord, among others. These Pokémon originate from alternate dimensions and are known for their unique abilities and powerful presence in the game.
In addition to the new Ultra Beast cards, Extradimensional Crisis will include:
- New gameplay mechanics themed around dimensional rifts
- Special energy and item cards to support Ultra Beast strategies
- Striking new card artwork with a surreal, space-warped aesthetic
- Rare animated Pocket Cards unique to the Pocket app version
This marks the first major Ultra Beast-themed expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, the digital card game designed for quick and visually rich mobile TCG experiences.
