Pokémon TCG Pocket “Paldean Wonders” Expansion Announced
The Pokémon Company has revealed the next expansion coming to Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket.
A new set titled Paldean Wonders is on the way, focusing on Pokémon from the Paldea region introduced in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
The expansion releases on February 26, 2026.
Focus on the Paldea Region
As the name suggests, Paldean Wonders will spotlight Pokémon originally discovered in Paldea. That means players can expect cards featuring many of the Generation 9 Pokémon that debuted on Nintendo Switch.
While the full card list has not been revealed yet, the announcement confirms the set is themed entirely around the Scarlet & Violet era. More individual card reveals are expected closer to release.
Release Date & Availability
The expansion will be added directly into Pokémon TCG Pocket as part of the game’s ongoing updates.
Australian Release Timing
Updates for TCG Pocket typically become available globally at the same time, which means Australian players should see the expansion arrive during the evening of February 26 (ACDT/AEDT) depending on the exact rollout timing.
No special unlock steps have been announced — the new packs will simply appear in-game once the update goes live.
Trailer Released
The announcement was accompanied by a teaser trailer previewing some of the cards and pack artwork for the set. The trailer gives a first look at the Paldea-themed designs players will be opening soon.
More information, including featured cards and possible promotional campaigns, is expected to be shared shortly before launch.
For now, TCG Pocket players won’t have to wait long — new packs arrive this week.
