Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Surpasses 6 Million Pre-Registrations Ahead of Launch

A few months back, The Pokémon Company opened pre-registrations for Pokémon TCG Pocket, a new mobile app adaptation of the popular collectible trading card game. Ahead of the game’s full launch at the end of this month, TPC has announced that Pokémon TCG Pocket has crossed an impressive milestone of 6 million pre-registrations worldwide.

This figure is perhaps a testament to the enduring popularity of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, alongside its ever-successful games and anime adaptation. Fans around the globe are eagerly waiting to dive into this new version of the TCG, which promises a more casual gameplay experience. Players will open booster packs, collect cards, and receive two free booster packs daily to enhance their decks.

Another exciting feature is the introduction of “immersive” animated cards that will transport trainers deeper into the world of Pokémon. Along with simplified casual battles and the ability to trade cards with other players, Pokémon TCG Pocket seems set to engage both new and experienced players alike.
