Pokémon Scarlet/Violet Porygon2-Themed Tera Raid And Mass Outbreak Event Now Live

To celebrate the arrival of the Nintendo Switch 2 and continue the festivities surrounding recent competitive events, The Pokémon Company has launched a new dual event for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, featuring the Virtual Pokémon: Porygon2.

From now until June 16, 2025, players can take part in a 7-Star Tera Raid Battle and a special Mass Outbreak event, both centered around Porygon2.

7-Star Tera Raid Event

This high-difficulty raid features a Porygon2 with the Ground Tera Type and the coveted Mightiest Mark. Like other 7-Star raid Pokémon, this Porygon2 can only be caught once per save file, though players can continue to battle the raid for additional rewards such as Ability Patches, Tera Shards, and more.

Mass Outbreak Event

During the same period, Porygon2 will also appear more frequently in Mass Outbreaks throughout Paldea. These outbreaks come with an increased chance of encountering a Shiny Porygon2, making it the perfect opportunity for shiny hunters to add this rare variation to their collection.

Start: June 5, 2025
End: June 16, 2025

This event is presumed to tie in with the broader celebration of the Nintendo Switch 2, offering players fun and rewarding ways to engage with one of the series’ most iconic virtual Pokémon.
