Psyduck Chair Now Available in Japan
The Pokémon Company has teamed up once again with Japanese furniture maker Cellutane to release another adorable Pokémon-themed beanbag chair, this time based on everyone’s favourite confused duck, Psyduck.
The new beanbag chair features Psyduck’s face prominently across the backrest, complete with its signature blank expression and three tufts of hair sticking out from the top. Around the back, the chair also includes Psyduck’s little tail, giving it an extra-cute touch from every angle.
Unlike many novelty chairs, this one has been designed to be practical as well as decorative. The outer cover is removable and washable, making it easier to keep clean for everyday use.
The Psyduck chair is now available in Japan through retailers that stock Cellutane products.
Continuing Cellutane’s Pokémon Chair Collection
Psyduck is the latest addition to Cellutane’s growing line of Pokémon beanbag and lounge chairs. Previous releases have included designs based on:
- Rowlet
- Ditto
- Gengar
- Slowpoke
- Snorlax
- A Poké Ball-themed version
Of those, the Gengar and Ditto chairs have proven especially popular with fans thanks to their bright colours and unique shapes, while the oversized Snorlax design became something of a social media favourite.
The new Psyduck version continues the same style, turning a Pokémon into a functional seat while staying surprisingly true to its in-game appearance. For many fans, Psyduck feels like a perfect fit for a beanbag chair — relaxed, slightly dazed, and always ready for a nap.
With Pokémon furniture continuing to grow in popularity, it will be interesting to see which Pokémon Cellutane chooses next.
