Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Shiny Wo-Chien Mystery Gift Now Available
The Pokémon Company has officially released a special Shiny Wo-Chien as a Mystery Gift reward for all Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet players. This gift celebrates the community’s overwhelming success in the first Treasures of Ruin Tera Raid challenge, where players defeated Shiny Wo-Chien over 3.5 million times—more than triple the original 1 million win goal.
From now until September 30, 2025, Trainers can claim their Shiny Wo-Chien for free. This exclusive Pokémon comes with the following details:

- Dark Pulse
- Snarl
- Pollen Puff
In addition to the Shiny Wo-Chien, a separate Mystery Gift is also available, awarding players a generous supply of Tera Shards:
- 100 Grass Tera Shards
- 100 Bug Tera Shards
- 100 Poison Tera Shards
- 100 Fairy Tera Shards
How to Redeem Your Mystery Gifts
- Launch Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet.
- Make sure you’ve unlocked the Mystery Gift feature by completing the first Pokémon Center stop in the main story.
- Press X to open the menu, then select Poké Portal.
- Choose Mystery Gift.
- Select Get via Internet and pick the reward you wish to claim.
- Watch as your gift arrives—Pokémon will appear in your party or Pokémon Boxes.
- Save your game to keep your rewards.
The Shiny Wo-Chien marks the first Legendary distribution in the four-part Treasures of Ruin Shiny Raid challenge series, with Shiny Chien-Pao, Shiny Ting-Lu, and Shiny Chi-Yu to follow in the coming months.
