Two very Special Delivery Pokemon cards have been revealed!

Special Delivery Pikachu and Special Delivery Charizard.

The Special Delivery Pikachu card is a promo to celebrate the Pokemon Center US online store opening there delivery to Canada. If you make any purchase right now on the Pokemon Center US online store you will receive one of these cards for free with your items. We are still waiting to hear more information on how to get the Special Delivery Charizard Card.

However, we can still certainly break down the cards.

Special Delivery Pikachu – Basic – Electric type with 60 hp

It’s two attacks are happy delivery which, for a single colourless energy allows you to search your deck for an item card, reveal it and put it into your hands (don’t for get to shuffle afterwards).

The second attack is electro ball, which for an electric and a colourless energy deals 30 damage.

Overall it’s a rather weak card, it has a small hp pool, only hits for 30 damage but if the game ever puts an emphasis on more item centric decks or combos in the future this would make a great set-up card.

Special Delivery Charizard – Stage 2 – Fire type with 160hp

It’s first attack is Happy Delivery which, for a single colourless energy lets the use search their deck for *2* item cards and put them to hand. (Once again, do not forget to shuffle the deck)

It’s second attack is Flamethrower, which for two fire energies deals 160 damage at the cost of losing a fire energy attached to this Pokemon.

Overall, it is a solid card. Not insane but would be nice in item focused decks. It does have a neat little synergy with the Special Delivery Pikachu and a rare candy which could be interesting in advancing as a strategy and it’s attack hits for a nice amount. Not exactly lethal but should comfortably two hit ko most things and hitting Zacian V for weakness is always a good thing.

If these two cards become standard legal (which they generally do) they could really come together as a consistent deck which could be pretty fun to play.
