Our next English Pokèmon TCG Set has been revealed and it is called Evolving Skies. This set will likely be based off Japan’s Sky Stream and Towering Perfection. The logo appears to resemble Rayquaza’s colours who is the mascot of Sky Stream.

The two Japanese sets will release July 9th. Each set will feature 67 cards before the secret rares. Towering Perfection will feature Duraludon VMAX and will focus on Single Strike cards. Sky Stream will feature Rayquaza V/VMAX and will focus on Rapid Strike cards.

The name for the set appears to refer to Eevee Heroes or a reference to the set being an evolution of Roaring Skies. There’s going to be 50 + cards cut from Chilling Reign so they maybe included in Evolution Skies rather then cards from Eevee Heroes. It would also make more sense for a set that features the Eeveelutions to focus entirely on that and not share the spot light with another popular Pokèmon like Rayquaza.

There’s also the card from Eevee Heroes that features Rayquaza in the artwork. This is another thing that indicates that Eevee Heroes will be included in the Evolving Skies set.

At the moment there isn’t too much information about this set, but this set will release on August 27th.
