Uniqlo UT Pokémon TCG Apparel Collection Launches in Japan

Pokémon trainers can now add some card game flair to their wardrobes. Global retailer Uniqlo has released its first-ever Pokémon Trading Card Game UT Collection, combining the colorful designs of the Pokémon TCG and the new Pokémon TCG Pocket mobile app with everyday fashion.

The collection launched in mid-August 2025 across Japan, featuring a range of T-shirts and sweatshirts decorated with artwork and text from both the English Pokémon TCG and Japanese Pokémon Card Game. The designs include fan favorites such as Pikachu, Slowpoke, Magikarp, Gardevoir, and Omanyte, as well as bold sweatshirt prints of Snorlax, Mewtwo, Gengar, and Unown.

This is the first time Uniqlo has produced a collection directly themed around the Pokémon Trading Card Game, although the brand has collaborated with Pokémon multiple times in the past through its UT graphic line.

While the collection has only launched in Japan so far, fans around the world are already keeping an eye out for whether it will appear in Uniqlo’s international stores. For overseas fans, the mix of classic Pokémon card art and modern streetwear design makes it one of the more unique collaborations to date.
