To celebrate the Lunar New Year, The Pokémon Company has released a special animated short featuring some of the most well-known snake-like Pokémon in the franchise.

A Festive Pokémon Celebration

With 2025 marking the Year of the Snake in the Chinese Zodiac, this short animation highlights Ekans and Arbok relaxing in a serene forest. The two Poison-type serpents slither through their natural habitat, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. However, they aren’t alone—Snivy, the Grass-type snake Pokémon from Unova, also makes a surprise appearance, adding to the snake-themed festivities!
