Pokémon Scarlet/Violet Walking Wake and Iron Leaves December 2025 Tera Raid Event Now Live
The Pokémon Company has kicked off a new Tera Raid Event for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, featuring the highly sought-after Paradox Pokémon Walking Wake and Iron Leaves.
Event Details
- Event Period: Now until January 4th, 2026
- Location: In-game Tera Raids for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
- Featured Pokémon:
- Walking Wake (Scarlet)
- Iron Leaves (Violet)
This event marks the only current method to capture these Paradox Pokémon, as they are not available through the base game or its DLC.
Capture Rules
- Players may capture each Pokémon only once per save file.
- If you captured either Pokémon during previous events, you cannot claim it again.
- Players with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription can join online Tera Raids to catch the version-exclusive Pokémon from the opposite game.
Tips for the Tera Raids
- Consider using high-DPS Pokémon that exploit the Paradox Pokémon’s weaknesses:
- Walking Wake (Scarlet) – Weak to Bug, Ghost, and Dark moves.
- Iron Leaves (Violet) – Weak to Fire, Flying, and Ice moves.
- Bring Pokémon with status moves to reduce damage taken and increase capture success.
- Coordinate with online players for easier battles, especially if attempting to catch both versions.
This latest event gives Trainers a chance to complete their Paradox Pokémon collection and adds an exciting challenge to Tera Raid gameplay in Scarlet and Violet.
