Pokémon Pokopia Part 2 DLC Adds Adorable Accessories and More Pokémon
Pokémon Pokopia is about to get a whole lot more fashionable.
The Pokémon Company has released a new trailer for Part 2 of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass, giving players their first proper look at the next wave of paid DLC content coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 life-simulation game.
And while Part 1 took us underwater with Bubbly Basin, Part 2 is all about accessories, customisation and even more Pokémon. The update is currently planned for late 2026
Dress Up Ditto and Your Pokémon Neighbours
The biggest new feature shown in the Part 2 trailer is an accessories system.
Players will be able to dress up Ditto as well as the Pokémon living in their world, adding another layer of customisation to their Pokémon paradise.
The trailer shows several different accessories, including:
- Cool sunglasses
- A Sylveon-inspired ribbon
- A cute bow tie
- Other accessories that Pokémon says will be revealed later
This means you can give Ditto and your Pokémon neighbours completely different looks, or even have them coordinate with one another.
And let’s be honest — Ditto wearing sunglasses is exactly the sort of nonsense Pokémon Pokopia was made for.
More Pokémon Are Moving In
Accessories aren’t the only new addition.
Part 2 will also introduce more Pokémon to the world of Pokopia, with the trailer showing several new faces.
Among those revealed so far are:
- Skitty
- Doduo
- Braixen
- Snubbull
Pokémon has also confirmed that additional Pokémon will be revealed later, so this isn’t necessarily the complete list of new Pokémon coming with Part 2.
That should give players even more reasons to continue developing their towns and creating new habitats.
More Furniture Is Coming Too
Pokémon hasn’t revealed everything that Part 2 will contain just yet.
Alongside the new accessories and Pokémon, the expansion will also add more furniture, with additional details to be revealed closer to release.
This should fit nicely with one of Pokopia’s biggest features: creating and customising environments for Pokémon to live in.
Whether you’re building a cosy little home, creating themed areas or simply filling your world with ridiculous amounts of furniture, Part 2 will give players more options to work with.
Watch The New Trailer
The new trailer gives us a much better look at how the accessory system will work and shows several of the Pokémon coming with Part 2.
It’s only a short trailer, but there’s actually quite a lot packed into it.
The focus is definitely on the new accessories, with Ditto and Pokémon neighbours showing off their new looks.
Part 2 Is Coming Late 2026
There is still no specific release date for Part 2.
For now, Pokémon has confirmed that the second part of the paid Expansion Pass will arrive sometime in late 2026.
The Expansion Pass is split into three parts:
Part 1 Bubbly Basin
Available now
Part 1 introduced Bubbly Basin, an underwater town where Ditto can explore beneath the water and meet new Pokémon. It also added new furniture, outfits and other content.
Part 2 Accessories and More
Coming late 2026
This is the new update shown in the latest trailer, bringing accessories, additional Pokémon, furniture and more.
Part 3 New Town
Coming 2027
The third part of the Expansion Pass will introduce another new town, although details about that area remain under wraps.
Part 1 Is Available Now
If you’ve already purchased the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass, you can jump into Part 1 while waiting for the next update.
Bubbly Basin takes Ditto beneath the water into a new underwater area, complete with new Pokémon and ocean-themed furniture.
The first DLC also introduced the Dive ability, opening up another area of Pokopia to explore.
Pokémon Pokopia Is Getting Even Cuter
Part 2 might not be adding another huge new area like Bubbly Basin, but the accessory system looks like it could add a lot of fun to everyday life in Pokopia.
Being able to put sunglasses on Ditto, give Pokémon little bow ties and match accessories with Pokémon like Sylveon feels perfectly suited to the game’s cosy life-simulation style.
And with Skitty, Doduo, Braixen, Snubbull and more Pokémon joining the world, there will be even more residents to customise and build habitats for.
Pokémon says more details about the additional accessories, Pokémon and furniture will be revealed in the future.
For now, we just have to wait for a release date.
But one thing is already clear:
Pokémon Pokopia is about to get very, very cute.
