Pokémon Pokopia’s Bulbasaur Jump Rope Contest Returns This September
Pokémon Pokopia players will soon have another chance to test their jumping skills, with the Bulbasaur Jump Rope Contest returning as a limited-time in-game event.
The event originally debuted earlier this year, and The Pokémon Company has now confirmed that players will be able to take part again from September 20 through September 28, 2026.
During the event, players can visit Bulbasaur and take part in the jump rope minigame, with different rewards handed out depending on how many consecutive jumps they manage to complete.
How the Bulbasaur Jump Rope Contest Works
The contest sees Bulbasaur holding a jump rope outside a Pokémon Center. Players simply need to join the minigame and try to keep jumping for as long as possible.
The more consecutive jumps you complete, the more valuable the rewards become.
The original event also allowed players to participate together with others, including when visiting another player’s world or taking part on a Cloud Island. The Pokémon Company confirmed that both hosts and visitors could participate in multiplayer, although reward rules differ depending on where the contest is played.
The event requires players to have completed “Yawn up a storm!” in the Withered Wasteland, after which the contest can be accessed in any city.
Bulbasaur Jump Rope Contest Rewards
There are several reward tiers based on your highest jump count:

The Trophy is particularly notable, as it provides a unique collectible reward for reaching at least 50 consecutive jumps.
If you’re able to reach 75 jumps, you’ll also receive 30 PokéMetal Ingots, while hitting the top 100-jump milestone awards a Rare PokéMetal Ingot.
When Does the Event Start?
The returning Bulbasaur Jump Rope Contest runs from September 20 until September 28, 2026, according to the announcement.
That gives players just over a week to jump their way through the different reward milestones.
And if you’ve already completed the contest before, it could be the perfect opportunity to see whether you can beat your previous record.
