Pokémon Masters EX Adds Pasio Academy Marnie & Morty on April 14th
More familiar faces are heading to Pasio Academy in Pokémon Masters EX! The Pokémon Company has officially announced the arrival of two new Sync Pairs: Academy Marnie from Pokémon Sword and Shield and Academy Morty from Pokémon Gold and Silver.
These characters will join the game starting April 14th, 2025, as part of the ongoing Pasio Academy event, which reimagines well-known Trainers as students or faculty members at a school for Pokémon battles.

Marnie steps into the school setting with a fresh look and a determination to prove herself both in and out of uniform. Expect fast-paced Electric-type moves from her trusty Morpeko! - Academy Morty & Drifblim
The Johto Gym Leader takes on a teacher-like vibe in this update, bringing Ghost-type strategies and a calm, guiding presence to the Pasio battlefield.
A trailer showcasing both characters in their Academy-themed outfits and battle animations was released, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect in this limited-time update.
