Pokémon and PEARLY GATES Launch Huge New Pikachu Golf Collection in Japan

Pokémon fans are heading back onto the golf course, with PEARLY GATES launching its brand-new Pokémon collaboration for 2026.

The Japanese golf fashion brand has teamed up with Pokémon for its second Pokémon collaboration, creating a huge new collection centred around Pikachu and PEARLY GATES’ classic golf aesthetic.

The new range includes a stunning Pikachu golf bag, head covers, caps, pouches, clothing, golf accessories, bags and even Pokémon-themed charms.

The collection officially launched in Japan on September 18, 2026, through participating PEARLY GATES retailers and the official online shop.

A Second Pokémon Collaboration

PEARLY GATES describes the 2026 collection as its second collaboration with Pokémon, this time taking inspiration from a more classic and sophisticated golf aesthetic.

The collection features original PEARLY GATES branding alongside Pikachu-designed emblems, with the range built around a refined, traditional look.

The official campaign uses a deep navy colour palette, with Pikachu artwork incorporated throughout the clothing and accessories.

And there is a lot of merchandise.

The Pikachu Golf Bag

One of the biggest pieces in the new collection is the PEARLY GATES × Pokémon Golf Bag.

The golf bag is priced at ¥99,000, making it one of the most expensive items in the collection.

The design combines the PEARLY GATES golf aesthetic with the new Pokémon artwork and branding, creating a bag that is clearly aimed at collectors as much as serious golfers.

Pikachu Head Covers and Golf Accessories

If spending ¥99,000 on a golf bag isn’t quite enough, there are plenty of smaller ways to add Pokémon to your golf gear.

The collection includes a large range of matching golf accessories, including:

  • Driver head covers
  • Fairway wood head covers
  • Utility head covers
  • Iron head covers
  • Putter covers
  • Ball pouches
  • Multi pouches
  • Golf gloves
  • Golf towels
  • Golf markers
  • Putting cups
  • Caps
  • Charms

The Pikachu driver head cover is priced at ¥18,700, while the other head covers range from ¥9,900 to ¥10,340. Pearly Gates

The collection also includes a Pikachu charm priced at ¥9,900, giving fans another way to add the collaboration to their golf bags.

Pokémon Golf Clothing

The collaboration isn’t limited to golf equipment either.

PEARLY GATES has created an entire range of Pokémon golf clothing for both men and women.

The men’s collection includes:

  • Pikachu polo shirts
  • Knitwear
  • Golf pants
  • Caps
  • Belts
  • Socks
  • Golf gloves

Prices for the men’s Pokémon polo shirts start at ¥26,400, while the knitwear is priced at ¥33,000 and pants at up to ¥31,900. Pearly Gates

There is also a women’s collection featuring:

  • Polo shirts
  • Skirts
  • Visors
  • Caps
  • Belts
  • Socks
  • Golf shoes
  • Cart bags
  • Locker bags

The Pokémon golf shoes are priced at ¥41,800, while the women’s skirts are ¥28,600.

More Bags and Pouches

There are also several practical bags included in the new collection.

The Cart Bag is priced at ¥20,900, while the Locker Bag costs ¥26,400.

A smaller Multi Pouch is available for ¥8,580, giving fans a more affordable way to pick up something from the collaboration without committing to the larger golf equipment.

Some Items Are Arriving Later

Not everything in the collection is launching at exactly the same time.

PEARLY GATES notes that the navy-coloured pants and skirts are scheduled for release in early to mid-October 2026.

So while the main collection is already available, there are still more Pokémon items coming.

Pokémon × PEARLY GATES Pop-Up Shops

To celebrate the collaboration, PEARLY GATES also held special Pokémon pop-up shops in Japan.

The pop-ups ran from September 16 to September 30 at THE PEARLY GATES FLAG and the PEARLY GATES Minamisenba store.

Two additional locations at Osaka Takashimaya and Matsuzakaya Nagoya ran from September 16 to September 22.

The stores were transformed into a deep navy Pokémon-themed space featuring artwork inspired by a traditional Ivy League style.

Exclusive Pokémon Gifts

There were also special gifts for shoppers at the pop-up stores.

Customers purchasing Pokémon collaboration products could receive an exclusive Pokémon sticker, with different designs available depending on the location.

Customers who spent ¥44,000 or more including tax on Pokémon collaboration products could also receive an exclusive Pokémon eco bag.

Both gifts were available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies lasted.

These are Japanese retail prices listed by PEARLY GATES, and availability can vary between stores.
