Pokemon Card Game Scarlet & Violet: New Expansion Packs ‘Snow Hazard’ and ‘Clay Burst’ have been announced!
Exciting news for Pokemon fans! The seal on the Paldea region has been lifted, and two new expansion packs for the popular “Pokemon Card Game Scarlet & Violet” series are set to release on April 14th. The new sets, titled “Snow Hazard” and “Clay Burst,” will feature a total of 142 cards, including 30 brand new cards.
These sets will introduce fans to Chien-Pao ex and Ting-Lu ex, two legendary Dark-type Pokemon from Paldea’s “Treasures of Ruin” collection. These Pokemon were once treasures themselves, including a sword, a vessel, wooden tablets, and a set of beads, which became corrupted by negative human emotions. Each Pokemon incorporates its respective treasure into its body, and their names are based on the Four Perils from Chinese mythology.
The new expansion packs will include 71 cards each, and fans can look forward to new EX Rares and Special Rares. The “Snow Hazard” recording card is marked with “SV2P,” while the “Clay Burst” recording card is marked with “SV2D” in the expansion mark on the bottom left of the card.
With the release of these new expansion packs, fans can expect even more exciting battles and trading opportunities in the Pokemon universe. The popularity of the Pokemon Card Game shows no signs of slowing down, with the release of “Snow Hazard” and “Clay Burst” on April 14th in Pokemon Centers all around Japan. It’s not like how it use to be when you had the whole year to master the set.
