New Pokémon TCG Pocket Merchandise Launches in Japan This September
Fans of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket have a new collection of merchandise to look forward to, with a large range of Pokémon TCG Pocket-themed goods launching at Pokémon Centers across Japan this September.
The new collection includes everything from a Pack Hourglass LED light and detailed paper dioramas to pouches, pins, clothing, smartphone accessories and more.
The merchandise was announced by The Pokémon Company on September 18, with the physical Pokémon Center release scheduled for September 26, 2026. Pokémon Center Online will get the collection slightly earlier, beginning September 24 at 10:00 a.m. Japan time.
A Pokémon TCG Pocket Collection Full of Collectibles
The new lineup is designed around the visual style of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, with several products directly inspired by cards and expansion packs from the mobile game.
One of the standout items is a Pack Hourglass-shaped LED Light, which turns the familiar in-game item into a decorative piece for your room.
The collection also includes a new tissue case inspired by the Wave Beat expansion pack. The item can also be used as a pouch or shoulder sacoche, making it one of the more practical pieces in the collection.
Pokémon TCG Pocket Paper Theaters
Three new Paper Theater sets are also joining the lineup.
These recreate Pokémon TCG Pocket cards using layered paper designs to give the finished artwork a three-dimensional appearance.
The three designs feature:
- Eevee ex
- Suicune ex
- Mega Gardevoir ex
Each Paper Theater is priced at ¥5,500.
These could be particularly appealing to collectors who enjoy displaying their favourite Pokémon card artwork rather than simply keeping cards in a binder.
Expansion Pack-Themed Merchandise
Several products take their designs directly from Pokémon TCG Pocket’s themed expansion packs.
There are three different sticker-in-pouch products, featuring:
- Dialga & Palkia from Time-Space Smackdown
- Solgaleo & Lunala from Celestial Guardians
- Ho-Oh & Lugia from Wisdom of Sea and Sky
There are also carabiner pouches based on the themed expansion packs Crimson Blaze and Extradimensional Crisis.
Pokémon Coin Pattern Pins
Collectors will also be able to pick up three different two-pin sets featuring Pokémon TCG Pocket artwork.
The combinations include:
- Sylveon & Alolan Vulpix
- Pikachu, Ho-Oh & Lugia
- Mega Charizard Y & Mega Absol
Each two-pin set costs ¥1,430.
Pokémon TCG Pocket Sweatshirts
The collection also moves into clothing, with two sweatshirt designs available in both M and L sizes.
One features Eevee and Snorlax ex, while the other features Charmander and Mega Charizard Y ex.
Both sweatshirts are priced at ¥7,700.
The designs use Pokémon card artwork prominently, including large graphics on the back, giving them a more traditional Pokémon TCG-inspired look.

When Does the Pokémon TCG Pocket Merchandise Release?
The merchandise will be available at Pokémon Centers in Japan from September 26, 2026.
For those shopping online, Pokémon Center Online begins selling the collection from 10:00 a.m. on September 24.
As with other Pokémon Center merchandise, The Pokémon Company notes that stock is limited and that individual stores may carry different quantities.
