The Pokémon Company has announced the next expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, with Team Rocket’s Ambition set to launch on August 27, 2026.
The upcoming expansion puts the spotlight on one of the most iconic villainous organisations in Pokémon history, bringing Team Rocket-themed cards to the popular mobile Pokémon Trading Card Game.
Prepare for Trouble!
Team Rocket has been part of the Pokémon series since the very beginning, with Jessie, James, Meowth and the organisation’s mysterious boss Giovanni becoming some of the franchise’s most recognisable villains.
Now, Team Rocket is taking over Pokémon TCG Pocket with a brand-new collection of cards inspired by the original Pokémon evil team.
While full details about the card list have not yet been revealed, the expansion is expected to introduce a new lineup of Pokémon and Trainer cards themed around Team Rocket and its Pokémon.

The arrival of Team Rocket’s Ambition continues the regular expansion releases for Pokémon TCG Pocket, giving players even more cards to collect, trade and build into their decks.
