Pokémon TCG x Santa Cruz Skateboard Decks Available Now

Pokémon and Santa Cruz Skateboards have teamed up once again to celebrate 30 years of Pokémon, with a new collection of skateboard decks inspired by iconic Pokémon Trading Card Game cards.

First revealed at the PokémonXP event, the collection was announced on October 17, 2026, and is available now. Featuring 30 different designs, the blind-bag collection gives fans and skateboarders the chance to discover artwork from memorable Pokémon cards spanning the history of the TCG.

30 Pokémon TCG Skateboard Designs to Collect

The new collection features 30 different skateboard deck designs, each showcasing artwork inspired by a Pokémon Trading Card Game card.

The selection spans different eras of the TCG, bringing together classic favourites and more recent cards. Examples include the iconic Charizard from the original Base Set, Lugia-EX from Black & White—Plasma Storm, and Umbreon VMAX from Sword & Shield—Evolving Skies.

The decks are sold in blind bags, meaning buyers won’t know which design they’ll receive until they open their purchase. This adds an element of surprise for collectors hoping to find a particular Pokémon or card artwork.

How Does This Collection Compare to the Previous Collaboration?

Pokémon and Santa Cruz have collaborated on blind-bag skateboard decks before, and the previous collection had a particularly exciting feature: the chance to uncover a gold-coloured skateboard deck. (View previous collection article here)

That made opening a blind bag even more exciting for collectors who were hoping to find something special.

The new collection takes a different approach, focusing on artwork from iconic Pokémon TCG cards throughout the franchise’s history. Rather than repeating the previous release’s gold-coloured deck concept, this collection celebrates the artwork and history of the trading card game.

With 30 designs to discover, fans have plenty of different cards to look out for, including some of the most recognisable Pokémon cards released over the years.

Iconic Pokémon Cards Featured on the Decks

Several familiar cards are highlighted as part of the collection, giving fans a chance to see classic Pokémon TCG artwork featured on a skateboard deck.

Some of the examples include:

  • Charizard – featuring the classic illustration by Mitsuhiro Arita from the original Base Set.
  • Lugia-EX – illustrated by Toyste Beach and originally released in Black & White—Plasma Storm.
  • Umbreon VMAX – illustrated by KEIICHIRO ITO from Sword & Shield—Evolving Skies.

These designs bring together cards from different generations of the Pokémon TCG, making the collection appealing to both long-time collectors and fans who have joined the hobby more recently.

Each Variant Skateboard deck also includes a booklet featuring all 30 designs, along with a collectible sticker.

Behind the Scenes of the Pokémon and Santa Cruz Collaboration

Pokémon and Santa Cruz have released a behind-the-scenes video showing the creation of the collection.

The video offers a closer look at the collaboration and how Pokémon TCG artwork has been brought onto skateboard decks.
