Update – New Classic Reprints Revealed for Pokemon Trading Card Game Classic Box Set

Are you ready to relive the good ol’ days of Pokemon Trading Card Game? Well, get ready because the classic set is making a comeback! That’s right, the highly anticipated “Pokemon Trading Card Game Classic” is set to release in late 2023 in English and in October 2023 in Japan, and we’ve got some new updates for you.

Recently, more classic reprints have been revealed, and trust us, they do not disappoint. The product will contain three 60-card decks featuring the legendary Base Set Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. Each of these decks will not only contain new cards, but also reprints of some fan favorites.

But wait, there’s more! All of the cards will feature a unique holofoil pattern different from the one in Celebrations, and they will all have new numbering for this box set. So, not only are you getting a blast from the past, but you’re also getting some limited edition cards that you won’t find anywhere else.

Unfortunately, these cards are so hot that they’re only available for lottery on the Pokemon Center Japan store. Even after applying, our team here at the Pokemon Newspaper didn’t get a lottery slot to add this to our collections. But that won’t stop us from keeping an eye out for any future releases of this classic set.

So, get ready to dust off those old decks and add some new ones to your collection, because “Pokemon Trading Card Game Classic” is coming in hot.
