Finally, the Wait is Over: Pokemon TCG Live Set to Launch on June 8th, 2023, as TCG Online Gets the Boot

Well, well, well, look who finally decided to show up. After nearly two years since its announcement, the Pokemon TCG Live digital trading card game is finally ready to launch. And the official release date is set for June 8th, 2023, for both PC and mobile platforms.

But here’s the kicker: in preparation for the launch, the predecessor Pokemon TCG Online is getting the boot and will be shut down on June 5th. So, if you’re still playing TCG Online, you better start migrating your data over to TCG Live if you want to continue playing.

It’s about time that the Pokemon Company got their act together and released this game. I mean, two years is a long time to keep players waiting. But hey, better late than never, right?
