Pokémon Winds And Waves Main Theme Recording Video Released
Earlier this year, The Pokémon Company officially revealed Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves as the next mainline entries in the Pokémon series, with both titles scheduled to launch in 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2.
While fans continue the long wait for more gameplay details, The Pokémon Company has now shared a brand-new behind-the-scenes recording video focused on the games’ main musical theme.
The video showcases musicians recording the orchestral soundtrack heard during the debut trailer released back in February. The piece combines emotional strings, sweeping adventure melodies, and quieter atmospheric moments that already seem designed to capture the feeling of exploration and discovery the new games are aiming for.
This soundtrack recording video is actually one of the biggest official looks fans have received since the games were first announced.
The music itself appears to lean heavily into the themes of nature, travel, and adventure hinted at by the Winds and Waves titles. Some fans have even compared parts of the arrangement to the more orchestral style used in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s emotional story moments.
