Make a Wish! Jirachi Arrives in Pokémon Pokopia for a Limited-Time Event
The Pokémon Company has officially announced the next special event for Pokémon Pokopia, and this time it’s bringing one of the franchise’s most beloved Mythical Pokémon to the game.
The Jirachi Event will run from June 23rd to July 8th, 2026, giving players the opportunity to meet, befriend, and permanently add the Wish Pokémon to their Pokopia adventures.

Jirachi Makes Its Pokémon Pokopia Debut
The star of the event is none other than Jirachi, the Mythical Wish Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
Known for awakening once every thousand years to grant wishes, Jirachi has become one of Pokémon’s most popular Mythical Pokémon thanks to its adorable design and starring role in Pokémon: Jirachi—Wish Maker.
Now, Jirachi is making its Pokémon Pokopia debut.
Collect Shining Wish Notes
During the event period, players will be able to collect a special event currency known as:
Shining Wish Notes
These can be found by exploring the Dream Islands throughout the event.
As players gather more Shining Wish Notes, they’ll be able to exchange them with Jirachi for exclusive event rewards.
Unlock Exclusive Items
Trading Shining Wish Notes with Jirachi will reward players with special event-exclusive items.
These unique decorations and collectibles can then be used to build special habitats within Pokopia.
And there’s an even bigger reward waiting for dedicated players.
Permanently Befriend Jirachi
By collecting the exclusive event items and creating the appropriate habitats, players will eventually unlock the ability to permanently befriend Jirachi.
This means Jirachi won’t simply be a temporary visitor during the event—it can become a lasting member of your growing Pokopia community.
Much like previous Pokémon Pokopia events, players who fully participate will be rewarded with a permanent addition to their collection.

Personally, I think Jirachi is one of the best Mythical Pokémon they could have chosen. The idea of exploring Dream Islands to collect Shining Wish Notes and gradually earning Jirachi’s friendship ties in perfectly with its wish-granting lore. After Sableye’s Gem Hunt, it’s great to see Pokémon Pokopia continuing to add fan-favourite Mythical Pokémon through fun seasonal events.
