Pokémon Sleep Adds Hawlucha as a New Pokémon to Discover
A new Pokémon is preparing to make its way into Pokémon Sleep, with Hawlucha officially announced as the latest Pokémon to become available through Sleep Research.
Following continued research by Trainers, reports have surfaced of previously unseen Pokémon appearing near certain areas. It seems that Hawlucha will soon be ready to make its way into players’ Sleep Research as well.
Hawlucha Is Coming to Pokémon Sleep
The new Pokémon joining Pokémon Sleep is:

Type: Flying
Hawlucha is the latest Pokémon to be discovered through Sleep Research, giving Trainers another Pokémon to encounter while tracking their sleep.
When Can You Find Hawlucha?
Hawlucha will begin appearing from:
August 10, 2026 at 3:00 PM
From this time, the Hawlucha Incense will also become available to use.
This means Trainers can start using the appropriate Incense from 3:00 PM on August 10 to help attract Hawlucha during their Sleep Research.
Where Can Hawlucha Be Found?
Hawlucha can be encountered across several different research areas:
- Greengrass Isle
- Cyan Beach
- Lapis Lakeside
- Greengrass Isle EX
- Cyan Beach EX
There is also a special bonus for players researching at Cyan Beach EX.
The official announcement confirms that Hawlucha has a higher chance of appearing at Cyan Beach EX than at the other available fields.
So if you’re specifically hunting for Hawlucha, Cyan Beach EX will be the place to head.
Hawlucha’s Sleep Type
Unlike some of the Pokémon introduced through Pokémon Sleep, Hawlucha will be associated with the:

This means Trainers who achieve Snoozing sleep during their research will have the opportunity to discover Hawlucha.

Hawlucha is a particularly fun addition to Pokémon Sleep, bringing the energetic Flying-type Pokémon from the Kalos region into the world of sleep research.
